Memory & bandwidth — ideal for large data sets and 8K workloads

The MSI SUPRIM SOC ships with 32GB of GDDR7 VRAM on a 512-bit memory bus, delivering extremely high effective bandwidth suited to high-resolution textures, large neural network models and multi-frame rendering workflows. This large, wide memory subsystem reduces the need for host memory offloads in 8K rendering and professional AI tasks. 

Compute & clocks — raw performance

The RTX 5090 family implements a very high CUDA/compute count (the GPU class commonly lists ~21,760 CUDA cores for the RTX 5090 class), and MSI ships the SUPRIM SOC with factory OC profiles and a dual-BIOS design (Gaming/Silent/OC profiles available through MSI software) to balance peak boost against thermals. Factory boost frequencies and the SOC tuning aim to extract the highest real-world frame rates in CPU-limited and GPU-bound scenarios. 

Cooling, PCB and power design

MSI’s SUPRIM series uses an advanced Hyper Frozr cooling system (large triple axial fans, dense heatsink array, and an optimized vapor chamber baseplate on the PCB) to maintain lower core temperatures under prolonged heavy loads. The SOC variant also includes reinforced power delivery components and a robust multi-phase VRM to support factory overclocks and sustained power draw under extreme workloads. Dual-BIOS enables a quieter or higher-performance profile depending on user needs.
