Are there USB ports on MacBook Pro?
Ports aren’t simply windows; they’re essential connectors that allow you to plug-and-play with new gear no matter where you’re going.
Apple Macbook pro in Dubai eliminated the MagSafe 2 charging port, the HDMI port, the SD card slot, the Thunderbolt 2 connectors, and most importantly, the normal USB port. All of these connectors have been replaced with four Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports, which power data transfer and charging for almost everything you use.
What Apple has on its side here is that USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 are perpetually the future gratitude to their more conservative plan and quicker exchange speeds, thanks to its smaller size and better transfer speeds. Thunderbolt 3, which uses the USB-C connector, is fast and powerful enough to host a large number of devices and transfer data at lightning speeds. That’s why it can accommodate a wide range of devices in a single port. Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C are not the same thing.
With the same physical port, you can connect to different standards. This is significant because, while the MacBook is a great computer, it isn’t perfect. The MacBook Pro has both types of ports, but the ordinary MacBook only has USB-C.
On the one hand, USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 is a fantastic technology. On the other hand, it involves purchasing additional accessories such as converters and docks, that weren’t necessary prior to Apple’s switch to an all-USB-C lineup. I don’t want to be too harsh on USB-C/Thunderbolt 3, as it is undoubtedly the way of the future, but it does entail additional prices and items to carry around. Apple MacBook air price in Dubai kills off the greater part of the ports you likely need.
But, for all of the Final Cut X and Logic power users who will enjoy editing footage on the much-heralded new Touch Bar, how many of them will be creating that video with traditional peripherals that won’t be upgraded to USB-C connections anytime soon?
With their decisions to ditch legacy technology or embrace new standards, Apple has always been accused of being arrogant. They’ve learned to turn criticism into a profession of bravery. The difference is that in the past, Apple has primarily focused on integrating new connection types with existing favourites. But, owing to the fact that Apple’s products are rapidly becoming thinner than the port types themselves, the business is abandoning what customers want and shifting its connection standards philosophy in a way that appears to be fundamentally unfavourable to customers.
