TCL is making its QLED TVs even better with a new AI chip for better picture quality and user experience. At CES 2024, TCL showcased its latest tech. There are three types of chips: AIPQ, AIPQ Pro, and AIPQ Ultra. The top-notch AIPQ Ultra is on the QM89 QD Mini LED TV. In 2023, TCL had a big growth spurt and aims for more success in 2024 with new Q Class releases like the QM89 QD Mini LED TV. The Q6-Pro also gets upgrades with the new AIPQ processor, including Full Array Local Dimming, voice control, and a backlit remote. While there are no new 8K TVs this year, TCL's 4K models like the S5 4K TV have better LED backlighting, HDR Pro+ support, and a sleek bezel-less design.

QM7 (QM751G)

Among TCL's latest mini LED TVs, the most affordable option is the QM7. It's a strong panel with features like IMAX Enhanced, a fast refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium, good speakers, and HDR Ultra with Dolby Vision IQ. It's similar to last year's Q7 QLED and could be a big hit against Samsung and LG. The QM751G, like other new TCL models, also has better brightness and contrast, with up to 2,000 nits brightness and over 1,300 dimming zones. It covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color scale. There's even a new 98-inch model for those who want a huge TV. Sizes for the QM751G include 55, 65, 75, and 98 inches.

QM8 (QM851G)

Using the TCL AIPQ Pro processor, the QM8 Mini LED TV offers a smooth 120Hz display with impressive upgrades like a good speaker system, vibrant colors, lots of dimming zones, and super bright picture quality. Like its big 115-inch friend, the QM851G will be a next-gen TV with advanced features like a digital tuner, Wi-Fi 6, and a screen that reduces glare. It's gamer-friendly too, supporting high refresh rates and smooth gameplay. However, despite its many features, there are still some downsides like weak bass and possible picture issues. Plus, it only has 2 HDMI ports. Sizes for the QM851G include 65, 75, 85, and 98 inches.

QM89 (QM891G)

One of the most exciting TVs in TCL's new lineup is the stunning 115-inch QM89 Mini LED. It uses TCL's most powerful chip, the AIPQ Ultra, for super bright visuals with amazing contrast and vibrant colors. With a 6.2.2 channel speaker system including a subwoofer and Atmos speakers, it offers immersive sound. For gamers, it has a fast refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium to reduce screen tearing. Plus, it's loaded with next-gen features like ATSC 3.0, Anti-Glare screen, WiFi 6, and Motion Rate 480. It's been praised as one of the best TVs at CES and is perfect for big events like the Super Bowl. The QM891G Mini LED is only available in a 115-inch size.

TCL 2024 TVs: Q Class (QLEDs)

Q6-Pro QLED (Q651G-Pro)

At the top of TCL's QLED range is the Q6-Pro, an impressive TV with lots of great features, especially for gaming. It has a fast refresh rate and special gaming features on the Enhanced 85-inch model. New additions like voice control, better dimming, and a sleek design give the Q651G-Pro an edge over other TVs. The panel also has brighter LED backlighting, giving it up to 33% more brightness. 

Q6 QLED (Q651G)

Even without the "Pro" in its name, the Q6 QLED is still impressive. Like its pricier counterparts, the Q651G will have brighter LED backlighting, making it about 28% brighter than before. It also has a sleek design and now comes in a huge 98-inch size. Both the 85- and 98-inch models are great for gaming, with a fast refresh rate that can be boosted even higher. The smaller sizes under 85 inches also have gaming features and improved software thanks to the AIPQ processor. Other features like Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual: X are included too. The 6 series has been a favorite, and 2024 looks to continue that trend. Sizes for the Q651G QLED include 43, 50, 55, 65, and 75 inches, as well as Enhanced 85- and 98-inch versions.

TCL 2024 TVs: S551G 4K TV

No TCL TV collection is complete without an option for those looking for an affordable 4K TV. That's where the S5 4K TV comes in. It's better than before, with upgrades like HDR Pro+, a sleek Metal Bezel-less design, and a new AIPQ processor. With these improvements, the S551G now has more features, including special modes like TV as Center Mode and Enhanced Dialog. It also has standard features like Motion Rate 240, Dolby Atmos, and ALLM. Sizes for the S551G include 43, 50, 55, 65, 75, and 85 inches.
